Weekly catch report of Lac de Viennay - week 17 - 24 May 2014

This week we've welcomed 2 groups of English carp anglers at Lac de Viennay. They've had horrible weather, but that didn't harm their catches as Adam reports:
"Our guest's Phill, Dan, Danny, Paul and Kevin all fished Alberts Lake from Saturday the 17th until Wednesday the 21st. Around 65 carp were caught between them. The best being 58.5 u.k. pound's from swim 5 during the night. Also from swim 9 on the first day Danny beat his P.B. with a 50lb mirror on a pineapple boilie. The best tactic's seem to be fishing over a big bed of hemp and pellet's. A lot of the fish were upper thirties and the haul included a couple of fortie's just to top it off.
Gargan, Ste and paul started fishing Busters Lake on the 17th, On the following morning Ste broke his p.b. with a 55lb catfish from swim 2, on the 21st with only a few more carp between them the group moved down to Alberts to finish the week off perfectly. Ste had another big one in the shape of a 50lb mirror included in a haul of around another forty fish from Alberts Lake. All three of the group broke there p.b. during the week. Thankfully the fishing has been a lot better than the weather!"
